Upptic ASO allows testing of 8 Elements of the app store page. The testing algorithm goes through a sequential waterfall in the following order:
- Icon
- Promo Art
- Screen1 (or Set of Screenshots)
- Screen2 (N/A if testing Set of Screenshots)
- Screen3 (N/A if testing Set of Screenshots)
- Title
- Subtitle
- Description
A “Test” refers to a testing of one of these Elements. So an Icon test is a Test, and a Promo Art is another Test.
If you uploaded some Icons and Promo Arts for testing, the algorithm would first split test the Icons, then automatically move onto testing Promo Arts. If an Element only has 1 asset (the Control asset), then the algorithm simply skips over that phase. Once the algorithm runs through all of the Elements once, that is the completion of one “Test Cycle”.
So if you uploaded some Icons and Promo Arts for testing, and the Icon phase begins testing, any new Icons you upload at that point will be queued. The algorithm will finish the current Test Cycle first, then start back at the top of the waterfall at the Icon phase and start testing the queued Icons.
